"Οι Adolf Plays the Jazz δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με τον φασισμό.
Είμαστε ένα post-rock/shoegaze συγκρότημα από την Αθήνα. Στα 10 χρόνια ύπαρξης μας έχουμε κυκλοφορήσει 4 album και 4 ep, ενώ ολόκληρη η δισκογραφία μας διατίθεται δωρεάν μέσω της ιστοσελίδας bandcamp, κάτι που έχουμε επιδιώξει μέχρι τώρα και υλικά μοιράζοντας όσο αυτό είναι δυνατόν δωρεάν τους δίσκους μας. Αν κάτι επηρεάζει το χαρακτήρα της μουσικής μας είναι η τάση για εξέλιξη καθώς βασικός μας στόχος ανέκαθεν ήταν η κάθε κυκλοφορία μας να είναι ενα καινούριο βήμα - με καταλύτη οτιδήποτε ακούμε, διαβάζουμε ή παρατηρούμε.
Ολα αυτά τα χρόνια έχουμε μοιράσει πάνω από 2000 CD-R, ενώ το τελευταίο album μας (Form Follows Function) κυκλοφόρησε σε μορφή digipack στη συμβολική τιμή των 2 ευρώ για να καλυφθεί ένα μικρό μέρος του κόστους παραγωγής του.
Δεν είχαμε, δεν έχουμε και δεν θα έχουμε ποτέ στόχο το οικονομικό κέρδος από τη μουσική μας. Για μας η μουσική ανέκαθεν αποτελούσε ένα μέσο έκφρασης και επικοινωνίας.
Ολα αυτά τα χρόνια έχουμε γεμίσει με εμπειρίες αλλά στις πιο σημαντικές για εμάς στιγμές συγκαταλέγονται:
-Το πρώτο live μας στο Αn Club με τους Caspian
-Η συμμετοχή μας στο International Short Film Festival στη Δράμα
-Η συμμετοχή μας στο Andy Warhol Film Festival στην Αθήνα όπου επενδύσαμε ζωντανά μουσικά την ταινία "Εmpire"
-Η συμμετοχή μας σε μια ελληνική περιοδεία σε πέντε πόλεις (Βόλο, Γιάννενα, Λάρισα, Καρδίτσα, Τρίκαλα) μαζί με δύο εξαιρετικές μπάντες, Calf και Their Methlab"
